Reviews
Written for the beginner in Music reading and writing as well as Music Appreciation, This book is used by MIT's OpenCourseWare free online courses, which is what I bought it for, and I'm so glad I did. I do wish I had ordered the CD; there are songs and works referenced in the book that are not available on YouTube or Naxos, that do come with the CD. I highly recommend this book for casual and beginning students of music literature, history, composition, and appreciation.
